I, THE Undersigned, JACKSON KEDDELL, hereby make application to register the “Confidence Gold Mining Company (Registered)”, under the provisions of “The Mining Companies Limited Liability Act, 1865,” and “The Mining Companies Limited Liability Act Amendment Act, 1869,” and I do solemnly and sincerely declare that the following statement is, to the best of my belief and knowledge, true in every particular, namely:—

  1. The name and style of the Company is the “Confidence Gold Mining Company (Registered).”

  2. The place of operations is between the Waiotahi and Karaka Creeks at the Thames Goldfield, in the Province of Auckland, in the Colony of New Zealand.

  3. The nominal capital of the Company is Nine thousand three hundred Pounds in Three thousand One hundred Shares of Three Pounds each.

  4. The amount already paid up is in cash nil; and Seven thousand Seven hundred and fifty Pounds, partly paid up Scrip allotted to the said Shareholders.


I, THE Undersigned, NATHANIEL WILLIAM MASSEY, hereby make application to Register the “Silver Crown Gold Mining Company (Registered)”, under the provisions of “The Mining Companies Limited Liability Act, 1865, and Amendment Act, 1869,” and I do solemnly and sincerely declare that the following statement is, to the best of my belief and knowledge, true in every particular, namely:—

  1. The name and style of the Company is “Silver Crown Gold Mining Company.”

  2. The place of operations is at the Tararu Block, Thames Goldfields, in the Province of Auckland, in the Colony of New Zealand.

  3. The nominal capital of the Company is Twenty-seven thousand Pounds in 10,800 shares of £2 10s each, represented by the estimated value of the Company’s mine.

  4. The amount already paid up is Nil.
