I, THE undersigned, JACKSON KEDDELL, hereby make application to Register the “PRIDE OF THE KARAKA GOLD MINING COMPANY (Registered),” under the provisions of “The Mining Companies’ Limited Liability Act, 1865,” and “The Mining Companies’ Limited Liability Act Amendment Act, 1869,” and I do solemnly and sincerely declare that the following statement is, to the best of my belief and knowledge, true in every particular, namely :-

The name and style of the Company is the “Pride of the Karaka Gold Mining Company (Registered).”

The Place of operations is at the Karaka Hill at the Thames Goldfield, in the province of Auckland, in the Colony of New Zealand.

The nominal capital of the Company is Forty Thousand Pounds in Eight Thousand Shares of Five Pounds each.

The amount already paid up is in cash nil ;- and Thirty eight thousand pounds in partly paid up Scrip allotted to the Shareholders.
