Auckland hereunder described, shall be a District under the said Act, and that such District shall be known by the name thereto prefixed, that is to say—

THE TAMAKI WEST HIGHWAY DISTRICT.

Bounded on the North by high water mark of the Waitemata Harbour, from the North-western angle of allotment No. 40A of the Parish of Waitemata, to the Tamaki River; on the East by the waters of the Tamaki River aforesaid, to the South-eastern angle of allotment No. 39 of the Parish of Waitemata aforesaid; on the South by the Southern boundary of allotment No. 39 before mentioned, to the road which forms part of its Western boundary; thence by the middle of the said road, and part of the Southern boundary of allotment No. 44 of the parish aforesaid, to the middle of the Scoria Reserve Road; thence in a straight line through allotment No. 50 of said parish, to the North-western angle of the Mount Wellington Reserve; thence along the Western boundary of said Reserve, to the Southern angle of allotment No. 50 aforesaid; thence along the Southern boundaries of allotments No. 50 and 49, to the College Road; thence along the middle of said road to the Southern angle of allotment 26A of said Parish of Waitemata; thence along the South-western boundaries of said lot 26A, and the Southern boundary of allotment 12A to the South-western angle of the last-named lot; and on the West by the Western boundary of said lot 12A to the centre of the Tamaki Road; thence along the centre of said road to the Western boundary of lot 88A of said parish; thence following the Western boundary of allotment 88A last named; and by a straight line thence across the Orakei Creek to the Western boundary of 39A, and following said boundary, and the Western boundary of allotment No. 40, all of the Parish of Waitemata aforesaid, to high water mark of Waitemata Harbour, the place of commencement.

In pursuance of the powers in me vested by "The Highways Act, 1867," I do hereby notify for general information, that I have altered and amended the boundaries of the Wainui and Kaukapakapa Districts, under the said Act, as hereunder set forth.

THE KAUKAPAPAKA HIGHWAY DISTRICT.

—Amended Boundaries.

Bounded towards the North by the Makarau and Kauhori Rivers to the South-western boundary of Allotment No. 49, of the Parish of Komokoriki; thence by part of the South-western and the whole of the South-eastern boundary of said Lot No. 49, and the South-eastern boundaries of Allotments Nos. 50, 51, and 52, all of the parish aforesaid, to the Western boundary of the Parish of Waiwera; towards the East by the Western boundary of the Parish of Waiwera aforesaid and the Waitoki Stream, to the Northern side of the road which forms the South-eastern boundary of Allotment No. 28 of the Parish of Kaukapakapa; thence by the Northern side of said road to the Eastern side of the road, which forms part of the Eastern boundary of Allotment No. 27, of the said parish; thence by said road and the Eastern boundary of said Lot No. 27 to the Northern side of the road which forms its Northern boundary; thence by the Northern boundary of said road to the North-eastern angle of Allotment No. 26; thence crossing said road and continuing along the Western boundary of said Lot No. 27, to the Western side of the road which forms part of the South-eastern boundary of Allotment No. 26, and continuing along the Western side of said road to the Waitoki Stream aforesaid; towards the South by the Waitoki Stream aforesaid to its confluence with the Kaukapakapa River, and thence by said Kaukapakapa River to the Kaipara River; and towards the West by the Kaipara River, and the waters of the Kaipara Harbour to the Makarau River, the place of commencement.

THE WAINUI HIGHWAY DISTRICT.

Bounded towards the North by the Southern boundary of the Puhoi Block and the Waiwera River; towards the East, by the sea from the Waiwera River aforesaid to the Orewa River; towards the South, by the Orewa River aforesaid and Waterloo Creek, to the Northern angle of allotment No. 225 of the Parish of Waiwera; thence by the North-Western boundary of said Lot 225; the South-Western boundary of lot 58, the South-Eastern boundaries of Allotments Nos. 49 and 48, and the North-Western boundary of Allotment No. 50, all of the Parish of Waiwera aforesaid, to the Westernmost angle of the lot last named; thence in a straight line to the South side of the road at the Northern angle of Allotment No. 253 of the Parish of Pukeatua; thence continuing along the South side of said road which forms the Northern
