I THE undersigned, Thomas Spencer, here-
by make application to register the "Lone
Star Gold Mining and Quartz Crushing
Company (Registered)," under the provisions
of "The Mining Companies Limited Liability
Act, 1865;" and I do solemnly and sincerely
declare that the following statement is, to the
best of my belief and knowledge, true in
every particular, namely:—

  1. The name and style of the Company is
    the "Lone Star Gold Mining and Quartz
    Crushing Company (Registered)."

  2. The place of operations is at the Karaka
    Creek, at the Thames Goldfield, in the Pro-
    vince of Auckland, in the Colony of New
    Zealand.

  3. The nominal capital of the Company is
    Thirty-nine thousand Pounds, in Thirteen
    thousand three hundred shares of Three
    Pounds each.

  4. The amount already paid up is Thirty-
    two thousand four hundred Pounds, being
    the estimated value of the mine.

  5. The amount already paid up in cash is
    nil.

  6. The name of the Manager is Thomas
    Spencer.

  7. The Office of the Company is at Owen-
    street, Grahamstown.

  8. The names and several residences of
    the shareholders, and the number of shares
    held by each at this date, are as follow,

of Day Gold Mining Company (Registered),"
under the provisions of "The Mining Com-
pany’s Limited Liability Act, 1865" and
"The Mining Companies Limited Liability
Amendment Act, 1869;" and I do solemnly
and sincerely declare that the following
statement is, to the best of my belief and
knowledge, true in every particular,
namely:—

  1. The name and style of the Company is
    the "Dawn of Day Gold Mining Company
    (Registered)."

  2. The place of operations is at the
    Karaka Creek, at the Thames Gold Fields,
    in the Province of Auckland, in the Colony
    of New Zealand.

  3. The nominal capital of the Company is
    Eight thousand four hundred Pounds, in
    Four thousand two hundred shares of Two
    Pounds each.

  4. The amount paid up in cash is Nil;
    and in partly paid up shares Six thousand
    three hundred Pounds, being the estimated
    value of the mine.

  5. The name of the Manager is Robert
    Kelly.

  6. The Office of the Company is in Brown-
    street, Grahamstown.

  7. The names and several residences of
    the shareholders, and the number of shares
    held by each at this date are as follow, namely:—
