It is hereby notified that on Tuesday next, the 9th instant, being the Anniversary of the Birthday of His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales, the Offices of the Provincial Government will be closed.

I, THE undersigned, DANIEL GARVEY, hereby make application to register the Mount Macedon Gold Mining and Quartz Crushing Company (Registered), under the provisions of The Mining Companies’ Limited Liability Act, 1865, and Amendment Act, 1869, and I do solemnly and sincerely declare that the following statement is, to the best of my belief and knowledge, true in every particular, namely:—

  1. The name and style of the Company is the Mount Macedon Gold Mining and Quartz Crushing Company (Registered).

  2. The place of operations is at the Waioho-Karaka Creek, near Grahamstown, at the Thames Gold Field, in the Province of Auckland, in the Colony of New Zealand.

  3. The nominal capital of the Company is Twenty thousand Pounds, in Twenty thousand shares of One Pound each.

  4. The amount already paid up is Seventeen thousand five hundred Pounds.

  5. The name of the Manager is Daniel Garvey.

  6. The Office of the Company is at Albert street, Grahamstown.

  7. The names and several residences of the shareholders, and the number of shares held by each at this date, are as follow:—
