I THE undersigned, SAMUEL CHADWICK
hereby make application to register the
"BONNE ESPERANCE GOLD MINING COMPANY
(Registered)," under the provisions of "The
Mining Companies’ Limited Liability Act,
1865," and I do solemnly and sincerely declare
that the following statement is, to the best of
my belief and knowledge, true in every
particular, namely:—

  1. The name and style of the Company
    is the "Bonne Esperance Gold Mining Com-
    pany (Registered)."

  2. The place of operations is at the Alabama
    Creek, Puriri, at the Thames Gold Field, in
    the Province of Auckland, in the Colony of
    New Zealand.

  3. The nominal capital of the Company is,
    Eighteen thousand nine hundred Pounds, in
    Six thousand three hundred shares of Three
    Pounds each.

  4. The amount already paid up is Twelve
    thousand six hundred Pounds (£12,600),
    being the estimated value of the mine.

  5. The name of the Manager is Samuel
    Chadwick.

  6. The Office of the Company is at the
    Royal Exchange, Pollen-street, Shortland.

  7. The names and several residences of the
    shareholders, and the number of shares held
    by each at this date, are as follow, namely:—

ing Companies’ Limited Liability Act, 1865,"
and "The Mining Companies’ Limited Liability
Act Amendment Act, 1869," and I do solemnly
and sincerely declare that the following state-
ment is, to the best of my belief and know-
ledge, true in every particular, namely:—

  1. The name and style of the Company is
    the "Central Star Gold Mining Company
    (Registered)."

  2. The place of operation is at the Karaka
    Creek, at the Thames Gold Field, in
    the Province of Auckland, in the Colony
    of New Zealand.

  3. The nominal capital of the Company is
    Eight thousand Pounds, in Three thousand
    two hundred shares of Two Pounds ten shil-
    lings each.

  4. The amount already paid up in cash is
    Nil, in partly paid up shares is Six thousand
    four hundred Pounds, being estimated value
    of the mine.

  5. The name of the Manager is John
    Cummins Morphett.

  6. The Office of the Company is at
    Campbell-street, Grahamstown.

  7. The names and several residences
    of the shareholders, and the number of
    shares held by each at this date, are as
