PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.
By EVERY MACLEAN, Esquire,
Deputy-Superintendent of the
Province of Auckland.
UNDER and in pursuance of the powers vested in the Superintendent by the fifteenth clause of "The Impounding Act, 1867," I do hereby declare that the lands comprised within the several boundaries hereunder described, shall be an Impounding District under the said Act: that is to say,—
The District of Tauranga,
comprising the whole of the land originally purchased by the Church Missionary Society, between Te Papa Point and the Gate Pa, together with the village of Greerton.
Given under my hand at Auckland, this eighth day of June, one thousand eight hundred and sixty-nine.

Deputy-Superintendent of the Province of Auckland.
UNDER and in pursuance of the powers vested in the Superintendent in that behalf by "The Impounding Act, 1867," I do hereby notify that the Fees mentioned in the Schedule hereto, and none other, shall be taken and charged by the Keepers of the Public Pounds at Cambridge, Shortland, and Tauranga, respectively.

Fees to be charged by Poundkeepers.
I.—Poundage Fees.

The above fees to be paid for each day, or part of a day, during which the animal is kept in pound.
II.—Charges for Food.

The above charges to be paid for each day or part of a day, during which the animal is supplied with food and water by the Poundkeeper, but the owner may supply food and water, in which case these charges are not to be made.
III.—Charges for giving notice of Impounding.
The charge for giving notice of the impounding of Cattle to the owner thereof or his agent shall be computed at the rate of one shilling for every mile or part of a mile of the distance between the public pound and the usual place of residence of such owner or agent, as the case may be.
PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.
By EVERY MACLEAN, Esquire, Deputy-Superintendent of the Province of Auckland.
UNDER and in pursuance of the powers vested in the Superintendent in that behalf by "The Impounding Act, 1867," I do hereby abolish the Public Pound at Tauranga, erected or appointed upon those premises situate at the Monmouth Redoubt, and I do hereby appoint, in lieu thereof, those premises situated at Tauranga, and known as the Newmarket Sale Yards, to be, and be used, as a Public Pound for the purposes of the said Act.
