PROCLAMATION.

By Every Maclean, Esquire,
Deputy-Superintendent of the
Province of Auckland.

WHEREAS by an Act of the Provincial Legislature of the Province of Auckland, intituled "An Act to abate the Nuisance caused by Dogs" (Session I., No. 4, 1854) it was amongst other things enacted that the said Act should come into operation in such districts as should be proclaimed by the Superintendent in the Auckland Provincial Gazette to come within the operation of the said Act.

And whereas it is considered expedient to bring the said Act into operation within the districts hereinafter mentioned:

Now, therefore, I, Every Maclean, Deputy of the Superintendent aforesaid, in pursuance of the powers vested in the said Superintendent, do hereby proclaim that, from and after the first day of July, 1869, the undermentioned Districts, as constituted under "The Highways Act, 1867," shall come within the operation of the said Act, that is to say,

East Tamaki
Howick Township
Kauaeranga
Mangarei
Mount Albert
Mount Eden
Mount Roskill
Mount Wellington
One Tree Hill
Otahuhu
Pakuranga
Panmure Township
Papakura
Paparoa (Parish of Pakuranga)
Remuera
The Whau
Town of Onehunga
Turanga
Waiotahi
Waipipi
Wairos
Waitakerei East
Waiuku
West Tamaki

Given under my hand, at Auckland, this tenth day of June, one thousand eight hundred and sixty-nine.
