Sub-District Boundaries




of the eastern boundary of the Electoral
District of the Northern Division, the Whau
creek and Waitemata harbour to the Meola
stream.

Sub-District No. 2.
Bounded on the north by the southern
boundary of the Electoral District of Par-
ell; on the east by part of aforesaid
boundary and by part of the western limits
of the One-tree Hill Highway District;
on the south by part of the northern
boundary of the Mount Roskill Highway
District; and on the west by the eastern
boundary of the Mount Albert Highway
District.

Sub-District No. 3.
This District shall comprise all the lands
included within the boundaries of the One-
tree Hill Highway District.

Sub-District No. 4.
Bounded on the north-east by the Great
South Road, from St. Anne’s bridge to the
Tamaki bridge, thence by the western bank
of the Tamaki river to the Pukaki portage
road, thence by the Pukaki portage road to
the Manukau; on the south by the Manu-
kau; on the west by the Manukau; and on
the north by the Manukau to a creek
running to Mr. John Fairburn’s farm, thence
by said creek to St. Anne’s bridge, the
place of commencement, including the
island known as Weeke’s Island.

Sub-District No. 5.
Bounded towards the north-east by the
Great South Road; on the south by the
southern boundary of the township of
Papakura, and by the Pahurehure creek;
on the south-west by the Manukau harbour;
and on the north-west by the Manukau
harbour aforesaid, and part of eastern boun-
dary of sub-district No. 4.

Sub-District No. 6.
This Sub-district shall comprise all the lands
(the village of Weymouth and part of the
township of Drury included) within the
limits of the Karaka Highway District.

Sub-District No. 7.
This Sub-district shall comprise all the lands
(Government townships included) within
the limits of the Pukekohe Highway Dis-
trict.

Sub-District No. 8.
This Sub-district shall comprise all the lands
(the townships of Waiuku, Purapura,
Paikington, and Camerontown included)
within the limits of the Waiuku Highway
District.

Sub-District No. 9.
Bounded towards the north and east by the
Manukau harbour; on the south-east by the
south-eastern boundary of the Waitara
block; and on the south-west by the sea to
the north head of Manukau harbour.

Sub-District No. 10.
This Sub-district shall comprise all the lands
included within the boundaries of the Wai-
pipi Highway District.

Sub-District No. 11.
This Sub-district shall comprise all the lands
included within the boundaries of the
parishes of Onewhero and Opuatia.

Sub-District No. 12.
Bounded on the west by the Waikato river
and the sea from the south-western angle
of the parish of Opuatia to Rangikahu;
on the south by a straight line from Rangi-
kahu aforesaid, on the west coast, to the
summit of Puketonga; on the east by a
right line from the summit of Puketonga
aforesaid, to the south-western angle of
Captain Hutton’s selection, in the parish of
Whangape, thence by the western boundary
of said selection, and by the same boundary
produced to the southern boundary of the
parish of Opuatia; and on the north by the
southern boundary of the parish aforesaid,
to the place of commencement.

Sub-District No. 13.
Bounded on the north by part of the southern
boundary of the Parish of Opuatia, and by
the Waikato river; on the east by
the Waikato river aforesaid; on the south
by a right line from the confluence of the
Waipa and Upper Waikato rivers to the
summit of Puketonga; and on the west by
the eastern boundary of Sub-district No. 12
hereinbefore described.

Sub-District No. 14.
Bounded on the north by the southern
boundaries of Sub-districts Nos. 12 and 13,
hereinbefore defined; on the east by the
Waipa River; on the south by the southern
boundary of the parish of Waipa to
the Whaingaroa harbour, thence by said
harbour to the sea; on the west by
the sea aforesaid, to the southern boundary
of Sub-district No. 12, before described.

Sub-District No. 15.
Bounded on the north by the southern
boundary of Sub-district No. 14, hereinbe-
fore described; on the east by the Waipa
river; on the south by a right line from
the confluence of the Puniu and Waipa
rivers, to the summit of Mount Pirongia,
thence by another right line to the mouth
of the Makomako creek, thence by said
creek and the harbour of Aotea to the sea;
and on the west by the sea aforesaid, to the
Whaingaroa harbour, excepting all those
lands included within the boundaries of the
Karamu Highway District.

Sub-District No. 16.
Bounded on the north by the southern
boundary of sub-district No. 15 hereinbefore
described; on the east by the Waipa river;
towards the south by the Waikomo river
from its mouth to its source, thence by a
