ment, exclusive of all the lands comprised within the boundaries of the Tauranga and Waimapu Highway Districts described in Provincial Gazette No. 44, 26th September, 1867.

Sub-District No. 29.

This District shall comprise all the lands (Government townships included) within the limits of the Tauranga and Waimapu Highway Districts, the boundaries of which are detailed in Provincial Gazette No. 44, 26th September, 1867.

Sub-District No. 30.

Bounded towards the north by the Bay of Plenty from Town Point (Okura) to river Aparpara; on the south-east by the eastern boundary of Te Awahou Highway District; thence by a right line from the south-eastern angle of said district to Lake Waikari; on the south-west by a straight line from Lake Waikari aforesaid to Lake Rere Whaka-tiu, thence north-westerly to Lake Tarawera, thence westerly to Lake Rotokaki, thence again north-westerly to Lake Rotorua; and on the north-west by the Okere, Maketu, or Kaituna river from Rotorua lake aforesaid to Town Point, the place of commencement, exclusive of all lands comprised within the boundaries of the Opotiki, Matata, and Te Awahou Highway Districts, described in Provincial Gazette No. 44, 26th September, 1867.

Sub-District No. 31.

This District shall comprise all the lands (the township of Opotiki included) within the limits of the Opotiki, Matata, and Te Awahou Highway Districts, the boundaries of which are detailed in Provincial Gazette No. 44, 26th September, 1867.

Sub-District No. 32.

Bounded towards the north-east by the south-western boundary of Sub-district No. 30; towards the east by the south-western boundary of sub-district No. 34; on the south by the 39th parallel of south latitude; towards the west by part of the Eastern boundary of the electoral district of Raglan; and on the north-west by a right line from the mouth of the Poaru river to Lake Rotorna.

Sub-District No. 33.

Bounded on the north and east by the sea from Cape Runaway to Tolago Bay; towards the south by a straight line from Tolago Bay aforesaid, to the south-eastern angle of Te Awahou Highway District; and towards the west by the eastern boundary of the Highway District before-named, and the sea, to Cape Runaway, the place of commencement.

Sub-District No. 34.

Bounded on the north-east by a right line from the south-eastern angle of Te Awahou Highway District to Tolago Bay; on the south-east by the sea from Tolago Bay aforesaid...

said, to the 39th parallel of south latitude; on the south by the 39th parallel of south latitude aforesaid; on the south-west by the Wairoa river; on the west by a straight line from the Wairoa river aforesaid, to the northernmost part of Lake Waikari; and on the west by another straight line from the Waikari lake aforesaid, to the north-eastern angle of Te Awahou Highway District, the point of commencement.

Deputy Superintendent of the Province of Auckland.

WHEREAS by the first section of “The Electoral Districts Act, 1865,” it is enacted that the Electoral Districts of the Province shall be and are thereby constituted Districts for the purposes of the said Act, provided that the Superintendent, by and with the advice of his Executive Council, may from time to time subdivide such Districts, in such manner as he shall think fit:

Now, therefore, I, Every Maclean, Deputy Superintendent of the Province of Auckland aforesaid, in pursuance of the powers and authority enabling me in that behalf, do hereby subdivide, into the twenty-seven Sub-Districts hereafter described, the whole of the Electoral District of

Raglan.

Bounded on the north, by the Electoral District of Newton, and by Waitemata harbour to Whau creek; on the west by the Electoral District of the Northern Division and the coast line to Mokau River; on the south by the Grey and Bell District as defined in the Schedule of an Act of the General Assembly, intituled “The Representation Act, 1860;” and on the east by the Great South Road and the Electoral District of Franklin; excepting all such lands as are comprised within the Electoral District of the Town of Onehunga.

Given under my hand, at Auckland, this twenty-eighth day of July, one thousand eight hundred and sixty-eight.
