on the south-east by the aforesaid line from Te Aroha to Pukemoremore; on the west by the confiscation boundary line from Pukemoremore aforesaid, to Hapua Kohe, thence by a line, easterly, to the Piako river, and by the Piako river aforesaid, to the Frith of the Thames; and on the north-west by the Frith of the Thames aforesaid, to the mouth of the Thames river, the place of commencement.

SUB-DISTRICT No. 20.

Bounded on the north-east by the range of mountains which form the water-shed between the Hauraki Gulf and the East Coast from Cape Colville to the source of the Manaia river; on the south by the Manaia river aforesaid, and Manaia bay, to the Frith of the Thames; and on the South by the Frith of the Thames from Manaia bay aforesaid, to Cape Colville, the point of commencement.

SUB-DISTRICT No. 21.

Bounded on the south-west by the range of mountains which form the water-shed between the Hauraki Gulf and the East Coast from Cape Colville to the source of the Manaia stream; on the south by a straight line from the source of the Manaia stream aforesaid to the mouth of the Whangaroro creek; on the south-east by the Whitianga river, Mercury Bay, and the sea to point Opito; and on the north-east by the sea from point Opito aforesaid to Cape Colville, the point of commencement, including the Great Mercury island, and adjacent isles.

SUB-DISTRICT No. 22.

Bounded on the north by the Manaia Bay; on the north-east by the Manaia stream to its source on the mountain range which forms the water shed between the Hauraki Gulf and the East Coast, thence by said mountain range to the source of the Tapu creek; on the south by the Tapu creek aforesaid; and on the west by the Frith of the Thames from the Tapu creek aforesaid, to Manaia Bay the place of commencement.

SUB-DISTRICT No. 23.

Bounded on the north by the Tapu creek from its mouth to its source on the mountain range which forms the water-shed between the Hauraki Gulf and the East Coast; on the east by the mountain range last described from the source of the Tapu creek to the source of the Tararu creek; on the South by the Tararu creek aforesaid to the Frith of the Thames; and on the west by the Frith of the Thames aforesaid to the Tapu Creek, the place of commencement.

SUB-DISTRICT No. 24.

Bounded on the north by the Tararu creek to its source on the mountain range which forms the water-shed between the Hauraki Gulf and the East Coast; on the east by the mountain range last described from the source of the Tararu creek aforesaid to a line running in an North-easterly direction from the mouth of the Hikutaia creek to the south head of Whangamata harbour; on the south by the line last described from the top of the mountain range to the mouth of the Hikutaia creek; and on the west by the Thames river and the Frith of the Thames from the Hikutaia to the Tararu Creek the place of commencement.

SUB-DISTRICT No. 25.

Bounded on the north by a line from the source of the Manaia River to the mouth of the Whangamaroro creek, thence by the Whitangi river and Mercury Bay to Ohau; on the east by the sea from Ohau aforesaid to the south head of Whangamata harbour; on the south by a line running in a south-westerly direction from the south head of Whangamata harbour aforesaid to the top of the mountain range which forms the water-shed between the Hauraki gulf and the Frith of the Thames; and on the west by the mountain range last described to the place of commencement.

SUB-DISTRICT No. 26.

Bounded on the north by a straight line running in a north-easterly direction from the mouth of the Hikutaia creek to the south head of Whangamata river; on the east by the Bay of Plenty from the south head of Whangamata river to the north head of the Kati Kati river; towards the south-east by a straight line from the south head of the Kati Kati river aforesaid, to the summit of Te Aroha, thence by a line running in direction of Pukemoremore until it intersects the Thames river; and on the west by the Thames river aforesaid, to the Hikutaia creek, the place of commencement.

SUB-DISTRICT No. 27.

Bounded on the north-east by a straight line from the summit of Te Aroha to the summit of mount Rotorua, thence in a right line to the western margin of Lake Rotorua; on the south-east by a straight line from the Lake aforesaid, to the mouth of the Poaru river; on the south-west by the Waikato river from Poaru river aforesaid, to Pukekura; and on the north-west by the confiscation boundary from Pukekura aforesaid, to Mangakawa, thence to Pukemoremore, and by a right line from Pukemoremore aforesaid, to the summit of Te Aroha, the point of commencement.

SUB-DISTRICT No. 28.

Bounded on the north-east by the sea from the north head of the Katikati river to Town Point (Okura); on the south-east by the Okere, Maketu, or Koituna river, to Lake Rotorua; on the south by a straight line from the Lake aforesaid, to the summit of Mount Rotorua, thence by another straight line to the summit of Te Aroha; and on the north-west by a right line from the south of Te Aroha to the north head of the Kati Kati river, the place of commencement.
