PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

In pursuance of the power in the Superintendent vested by the fourth section of "The Highways Act, 1867," I do hereby bring the said Act into operation within the District of One Tree Hill, and appoint the first meeting of the Electors to take place at Mr. Buckland’s Sale Yard, Remuera, on Thursday the sixth day of August next, at ten o’clock in the forenoon.

THE undersigned, Frederick Bowdler Gips,

Hereby gives notice of his intention to register the "Halcyon Gold Mining Company, Registered," under the provisions of "The Mining Companies Limited Liability Act, 1862," and I do solemnly state twenty-one days’ notice to the best of my belief and knowledge, true in every particular, namely:—

1. The name and style of the Company is the "Halcyon Gold Mining Company, Registered."
