parish of Mangapiko, thence by the centre of junction with the Tamahere creek, thence such road to the centre of a road forming the southern boundary of lot 40 of said parish, thence by centre of said road to the eastern boundary of said lot 40, and by the east and northern boundaries of said lot to its intersection by the western boundary of lot 45 of said parish, thence by said boundary to southern boundary of lot 46, thence by west and northern boundaries of lot 47, thence by west and northern boundaries of lots 48 and 49 to the southern boundary of lot 53, and continuing along said lot 53 and lot 54, all which said lots are in the parish of Mangapiko to Nga Roto, thence by the margin of Nga Roto to the intersection of and along the line which forms the south-eastern boundary of lots 167, 168, 169, and 170 of the parish of Nga Roto, thence crossing a road 100 links wide to the south-west angle of lot 166 of the said parish, and thence by the western boundaries of lots 166 to 148, inclusive of the parish of Nga Roto aforesaid.

9.—KIRIKIRIROA DISTRICT.

Bounded on the north by a line running due east and west from the Komokorau river to the boundary of the confiscated territory; on the east by the boundary of the confiscated district aforesaid; on the south-east by a line extending to the Tamahere creek, thence by the said creek to the Waikato river; on the south and south-west by the centre of the said river; on the north-west and west by the south-east and east boundary of the Komokorau Highway District.

10.—CAMBRIDGE DISTRICT.

Bounded on the north-east by the centre of the Mangaone and Mangaomapu rivers to its junction with the road fronting lot 58, in the parish of Hautapu; on the north by the centre of the said road to its junction with a road forming the western boundary of lots 181 and 180 in the said parish, thence on the west by the centre of the said road; on the north-east by the centre of proposed tramway, fronting said lot 180; again on the west by the western boundary of lot 178; again on the north by the northern boundary of lots 178 and 177; again on the west and north by the west and north boundaries of lot 174; again on the west and north by the centre of a road forming the western and northern boundary of lot 171 in the said parish; again on the west by the western boundary of lots 172 and 173; again on the north by northern boundary of lot 173 in the said parish, and the same line produced to its intersection with the boundary line of the confiscated territory; on the north-east by the boundary of the said confiscated territory to Kopuahau; on the south-east by the confiscation boundary line to its junction with the Waikato river; on the south and south-west by the centre of said river to its junction with the Tamahere creek, thence by the centre of said creek to its junction with the Mangaone stream.

11.—PUKEKURA DISTRICT.

Bounded on the north by the Waikato river; on the south-east by the confiscation boundary line; on the south-west, west, south, and south; by the north-east, east, north, east, and north boundaries of the Highway District of Nga Roto and Puniu, hereinbefore more particularly described to the south-eastern point of lot 1 of the parish of Te Rapa; on the west by the centre of the Hamilton and Ohaupo road to the stream forming the northern boundary of lot 49 of said parish, thence by the said steam to the Waikato river aforesaid.

PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

IN pursuance of the power vested in the Superintendent by the fourth section of "The Highways Act, 1867," I do hereby bring the said Act into operation in the District of Waitakerei East, and appoint the first meeting of the electors to take place at the Wheat Sheaf Inn, Queen-street, Auckland, on Tuesday, the first day of October next, at three o’clock in the afternoon.

Given under my hand at Auckland, this twenty-fourth day of September, one thousand eight hundred and sixty seven.
