THE following Bill is published, previously to its introduction into the Provincial Council, in accordance with the provisions of the “Diversion of Roads Act, 1863.”

ROAD BILL.

IN THE TWENTY-EIGHTH YEAR OF THE REIGN OF HER MAJESTY QUEEN VICTORIA.

ANALYSIS:

Preamble,

  1. Road in Schedule A to be closed.
  2. Land may be granted to William Hampton Thorp and Edward Joseph Thorp.
  3. Land described in Schedule B to be opened as Road.
  4. Short Title.

A BILL to close up a certain Road in the Parish of Wairoa in the Province of Auckland and to authorize the Governor to grant the Land occupied by the said Road to William Hampton Thorp and Edward Joseph Thorp and to open a new Line of Road over certain other Lands in the said Parish the property of the said William Hampton Thorp and Edward Joseph Thorp.

WHEREAS it is expedient to close up the said Road mentioned and described in the Schedule A to this Act annexed and to open a new Road in lieu thereof over the Land described in Schedule B to this Act annexed. And whereas the said Road so to be closed up as aforesaid passes through certain Lands the property of William Hampton Thorp and Edward Joseph Thorp.
