PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.
Superintendent’s Office,
Auckland, 22nd Nov., 1864.
WHEREAS a letter has been addressed to me on behalf of certain owners and occupiers of property situate within the boundaries of the District formed under the provisions of the “Highways Act, 1862,” and known as the “District of Panmure,” praying that the said District shall be abolished, and that in lieu thereof two Districts shall be formed, of which the names and boundaries shall be as follows, viz.:—
PANMURE TOWNSHIP DISTRICT.
Bounded on the North by the Southern boundary of Farm lot No. 42; thence on the East by the middle of a road to the North-east angle of lot No. 1 of Section 8 small lots; thence again on the North by the middle of a road and the Southern boundary of Farm lot No. 44 to the College road; thence on the West by the middle of the College road to the North-west angle of lot No. 14 of section 2 small lots and the Western boundaries of lots Nos. 14, 13, 12, a road, 11, 10, and another road, to the North-east angle of lot No. 7 of same section; thence again on the North by the Northern boundaries of lots Nos. 7, 6, 5, a road, 3, and 2 of same section to the Eastern boundary of Farm lot No. 51; thence by the Eastern boundary of said Farm to the Auckland and Panmure roads; thence crossing the said road to the Northern angle of Farm lot No. 30; by the Eastern boundary of said lot No. 30, to the Northern boundary of Farm lot No. 31; thence by the Northern boundary of said lot No. 31 to the middle of a road; thence by the middle of the said road to the South-east angle of Farm lot No. 32; thence on the South by the Southern boundaries of lots Nos. 48, 42, 47, and 46 of Section No. 1 of small lots to the Otahuhu road; and thence by the middle of a road to the Tamaki river, and thence on the East by the Tamaki river and the Otahuhu Creek to the Portage road; thence by the middle of the Portage road, to the Great South road; and thence by the middle of the Great South road to the junction of the roads at the Harp of Erin Inn. Including all roads traversing the lands within the before mentioned boundaries.
And whereas the proposed alteration as herein-before described may affect the interests of owners or occupiers of property within the said Panmure District: Notice is hereby given that objections to the abolition of the said Panmure District will be received at the Office of the Superintendent until noon of Friday the 16th December next, such objections to be made in writing.

MOUNT WELLINGTON DISTRICT.
Bounded by a direct line from the junction of roads at the Harp of Erin Inn to the South-west angle of lot No. 25 of section No. 12, by the Southern boundaries of lots Nos. 25 and 34 of same section, by the Southern boundaries of lots Nos. 12a and 26a of the parish of Waitemata, by the middle of the College road to the Western angle of lot No. 49 of said parish; thence by the Southern boundaries of said lot No. 49 and lot No. 50 of same parish, thence in a direct line to the South-west angle of lot No. 44 of the parish of Waitemata; thence by the Southern boundary of said lot No. 44, and the middle of the road that bounds said lot No. 44 on the South; thence by the middle of the road that bounds lot Nos. 40 and 41 of the parish of Waitemata on the West; thence by the middle of the road that bounds said lot No. 41 on the South, to the Tamaki river frontage of lot No. 42 of the parish of Waitemata; thence on the South by the Southern boundary of the said lot No. 42; thence on the West by the middle of the road forming the Western boundary of said lot No. 42; again commencing at the South-west angle of said lot No. 44 by the middle of the College road to the North-west angle of lot No. 14 of section No. 2 of small lots and the Western boundaries of lots Nos. 14, 13, 12, and the abuttal of a road, 11, 10, the abuttal of another road to the North-east angle of lot No. 7 of same section; thence by the Northern boundaries of lots Nos. 7, 6, 5, the abuttal of a road, 3, 2, of same section to the Eastern boundary of Farm lot No. 51; thence by the Eastern boundary of said farm No. 51 to the Auckland and Panmure roads; thence crossing the said road to the Northern angle of Farm lot No. 30; by the Eastern boundary of said lot No. 30 to the Northern boundary of Farm lot No. 31; thence by the Northern boundary of said lot No. 31 to the middle of a road; thence by the middle of the said road to the South-east angle of Farm lot No. 32; thence on the South by the Southern boundaries of lots Nos. 48, 42, 47 and 46 of section No. 1 of small lots to the Otahuhu road; thence by the middle of a road to the Tamaki river.

NOTICE is hereby given that all persons claiming a right to vote at the election of Trustees for the Papakura Valley Highway District are to send in their claims to Charles Mellsop, Esq., Resident Magistrate, Papakura.
