PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

Auckland, Nov. 16th, 1864.
HEREBY notify that the Chairman of a general meeting of the Electors of the district of “Waitakerei East” has, in accordance with the provisions of the “Highways Act, 1862,” presented to me, in writing, the names of the undermentioned Gentlemen, elected Highway Trustees for that District:—
- William Ansell,
- Francis Bethell,
- Levy W. Eaton,
- Samuel Harding,
- John Huston,
- Francis White.

PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

Auckland, 22nd Nov., 1864.
IN virtue of the powers in me vested, I hereby notify that I have received, from persons interested in lands and tenements in the Maungakaramea District, a Memorial praying that the operation of the Highways Act, 1862, may be extended to the said District. And I hereby declare that the said Act shall henceforth be in full operation within the said Maungakaramea District.

NOTICE is hereby given that all persons claiming a right to vote at the election of a Board of Trustees for the district of Maungakaramea, under the “Highways Act, 1862,” are to send in their claims to Thomas Scott, Esquire, Resident Magistrate, Maunga-
karamea, on or before the 1st day of January next, and that such claims must be in the form following:—

I, the undersigned, do hereby claim to be registered as a voter for the election of the Highway Trustees for the District of Maungakaramea (as Landowner, Lessee, or Mortgagee in possession, as the case may be), and that the particulars of my claim and qualification are
