I hereby give notice that I claim to have my name enrolled as a voter for the election of the Highway Trustees for the District of Karaka West (as Landowner, Lessee, or Mortgagee, in possession, as the case may be), and that the particulars of my place of abode and qualification are as follows: —

Christian Name and Surname of the Claimant at full length. Place of Abode. Nature of Qualification. Number of Allotments, and Section and Name of Town or Special and situation of Property. Freeholder (or freehold) Allotment or mortgage in possession, as the case may be. Number and extent of Section or allotment of land (or rent of the same) (or amount of as the case may be).

NOTICE is hereby given that all persons claiming a right to vote at the election of a Board of Trustees for Papakura Valley District, under the “Highways Act, 1862,” are to send in their claims to James Speedy, Esq., Resident Magistrate, at Papakura, on or before the 25th day of August instant, and that such claims must be in the form following:


Form of Claim.

I, the undersigned, do hereby claim to have my name enrolled as a voter for the election of the Highway Trustees for the Papakura Valley District, (as Landowner, Lessee, or Mortgagee, in possession, as the case may be) and that the particulars of my place of abode and qualification are as follows: —

Number of Allotments, and Section and Name of Town or Special and situation of Property. Nature of Qualification. Freeholder (or freehold) Allotment or mortgage in possession as the case may be. PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

Superintendent’s Office,
Auckland, 14th August, 1862.

I HEREBY notify for general information that a Memorial signed by a majority in number of all persons having such interest in the Papakura Valley District as is required by the “Highways Act, 1862,” praying that the operation of the said Act may be extended to the said District, has been received by me;

And I do hereby declare that the “Highways Act, 1862,” shall henceforth be in full operation within the said Papakura Valley District.
