District Judge appointed.

Department of Justice,
Wellington, March 12, 1875.

His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint

Thomas Shailer Weston, Esq.,
Barrister, to be a District Judge for the Districts of Westland North and Westland South, under "The District Courts Act, 1858." This appointment to take effect from the 1st proximo.

District Land Registrar and Registrar of Deeds appointed.

Department of Justice,
Wellington, March 17, 1875.

His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint

Frederick George Morgan, Esq.,
to be District Land Registrar and Registrar of Deeds for the District of Westland, vice J. M. Batham, Esq., transferred. This appointment to date from the 1st April next.
