28 PROVINCE OF WESTLAND GAZETTE.

WAITAROA DISTRICT.

Bounded on the North by the Big Wanganui; on the South by the Okarito River, Mapouriki Lake and Potter’s Creek to its source; thence by a line due east (magnetic) to the boundary of the Province of Canterbury and Westland; on the East by the Province of Canterbury; and on the West by the sea coast; exclusive of the Town of Okarito District, herein next defined.

TOWN OF OKARITO DISTRICT.

Comprising all that piece or parcel of land containing 320 acres, more or less, situate at Okarito on the west side of the lagoon, having a frontage of about 100 chains to the lagoon, the south-western boundary being a line at right angles to the general direction of the coast; and the south-eastern boundary being a line at right angles to the last-described boundary, and to include the above quantity, subject to Native reserve.

WEHEKA DISTRICT.

Bounded on the North by the Waitaroa District and the Town of Okarito District; on the South by the Paringa River to its source, thence by a right line due east to the boundary of the Province of Canterbury and Westland; on the South-east by the Province of Canterbury; and on the North-west by the sea.

HAAST DISTRICT.

Bounded on the North by the southern boundary of the Weheka District; on the South by the Province of Otago; on the East by the Province of Canterbury; and on the West by the sea.
