PROVINCE OF WESTLAND GAZETTE.

In the event of more than six duly qualified candidates being nominated, a poll will be held at the polling places for the several districts hereunder mentioned, at which the voting will be taken by ballot.

The poll will be open at 10 o'clock in the forenoon and close at 4 o'clock in the afternoon of the above-named day.

IT is hereby notified for general information, that the under-mentioned places have been appointed to be Polling Places for the first Election of Local School Committees under the "Westland Education Ordinance, 1874":—

For the District of Hokitika—Town Hall, Hokitika.

For the District of Greymouth—Town Hall, Greymouth.

For the District of Paroa—Hamilton's Store, Marsden.

For the District of Arahura—Resident Magistrate's Court, Stafford.

For the District of Kanieri—Town Hall, Kanieri.

For the District of Totara—Warden's Court, Ross.

For the District of Okarito—Warden's Court, Okarito.
