Now therefore, I, James Alexander Bonar, Superintendent of the Province of Westland, do hereby proclaim and declare that the above mentioned Ordinance shall be, and the same is, hereby brought into operation within the towns of Hokitika, Greymouth, and Ross.

IT is hereby notified, that the boundaries of Block LV (rural) as gazetted in the County of Westland Gazette, No. 1, of the 7th January, 1871, have been extended by the Waste Lands Board as set forth in the first Schedule hereto annexed, and applications for the same will be received on or after Tuesday, the 11th August, 1874.

EXTENSION OF BLOCK LV. (Rural).

Arahura District.

Commencing at the north-east corner of rural Section No. 1263, and extending thence north-easterly parallel with the One Mile Line to D.E. Line; thence westerly along said D.E. Line to One Mile Line before mentioned; thence south-westerly along One Mile Line to north-western corner of said Section 1263; and thence south-easterly along northern boundary of said Section 1263 to the commencing point. Exclusive of necessary reserves and gold workings.

IT is hereby notified, that the northern boundary of Block No. V (rural) gazetted in the County of Westland Gazette, No. 7, of the 11th May, 1868, has been altered as set forth in the Schedule hereunto annexed.

ALTERATION IN NORTHERN BOUNDARY OF BLOCK V.,

Arahura District.

Between the intersection of Fox’s Creek by metalled track to Fox’s Township (along D.S. Track), and westerly down said Fox’s Creek (at a point being the intersection of D.N. Line with said Creek), the northern boundary of said Block V. is altered to the south bank of Fox’s Creek before mentioned.

IT is hereby notified, in accordance with the provisions of Section Ten of "The Westland Waste Lands Act Amendment Act, 1873," that the Waste Lands Board have reserved the lands described in the Schedule hereunto annexed for the sale of timber thereon.

Twenty acres, more or less, situate in the Arahura District, with frontage to the east side of road to Fox’s Township, and a depth of 40 chains from said road; being bounded on the north by a straight line running east and west (magnetic); on the east by a straight line running due north (magnetic); on the south by Fox’s Creek and on the west by the before-mentioned road. For a reserve for sale of timber.

Twenty acres, more or less, situate in the Arahura District, with frontage to the west side of road to Fox’s Township. Bounded on the southward by the north bank of Fox’s Creek; on the north by the Left Hand Branch of Fox’s Creek; and a straight line due east (magnetic) to before-mentioned road. For a reserve for sale of timber.

IT is hereby notified, in accordance with the provisions of Section Sixty of "The Westland Waste Lands Act, 1870," that the Waste Lands Board have withdrawn from sale the lands described in the Schedule hereunto annexed.
