him within the Province in such Proclamation mentioned, except the powers conferred
by the second Section of the said "Bridges and Ferries Act, 1868," to the Superintendent of the Province in which the said Act shall be so brought into operation, or to any other person or persons, and such delegation from time to time to alter and revoke:
And whereas the said "Bridges and Ferries Act, 1868," is in operation in the Province of Westland:
Now therefore, His Excellency the Governor, in exercise and pursuance of the powers vested in him by the said "Bridges and Ferries Act 1868 Amendment Act, 1869," and by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the Colony, doth hereby delegate to
JAMES ALEXANDER BONAR, Esq.,
Superintendent of the Province of Westland,
all the powers by "The Bridges and Ferries Act, 1868," vested in the Governor, and exercisable by him within the said Province of Westland, except the powers conferred by the second Section of the said Act.

Value of Improvements to be added to Sections of Land in the Province of Westland.
In pursuance of the power and authority vested in me for that purpose by the fifty-ninth section of "The Westland Waste Lands Act, 1870," I do hereby approve of the recommendation of the Waste Lands Board of the Province of Westland, that the value of the improvements on the sections mentioned in the following schedule of lands to be put up to auction by the Waste Lands Board on Thursday, the 23rd of April, 1874, shall be added to the upset price of the said sections.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honorable Sir James Fergusson, Baronet, a Member of Her Majesty’s Most Honorable Privy Council, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over Her Majesty’s Colony of New Zealand and its Dependencies, and Vice-Admiral of the same; and issued at Cambridge, this twenty-third day of April, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and seventy-four.

Public Vaccinator Appointed.

IT is hereby notified, that, under the provisions of "The Public Health Act, 1872," His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint the undermentioned gentleman to be a Public Vaccinator to perform gratuitous vaccination in accordance with the provisions of the said Act, and any regulations made or to be made thereunder, for the district mentioned in the Schedule hereto, and set opposite his name.
