Term for which lease is required.—Fifteen years.
[Extracted from the New Zealand Gazette, No. 15, of the 6th, March, 1873.]
Precise locality.—The race is situated in the County of Westland, and commences at a dam in Maori Creek, in the New River District; thence extending in a westerly direction crossing the New River, Stony Creek, and Yankee Creek, and terminating at a point near the A. E. track and near to Yankee Creek, a distance of nearly ten miles from the commencing point. The race takes the waters of the New River and the other creeks which it crosses in its course. The locality, course of race, and other particulars, are more particularly shown in the plan lodged with this application in the Warden’s Office, Greymouth.
