Now therefore, I, Sir George Ferguson
Bowen, the Governor of the Colony of New
Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the
said power and authority in me vested in this
behalf, do hereby appoint
WILLIAM TODD, Esq.,
the person elected to be the Mayor of the
Borough of Hokitika, to be a Justice of the
Peace under the one hundred and thirty-third
section of "The Municipal Corporations Act,
1867."
Given under the hand of His Excellency
Sir George Ferguson Bowen, Knight
Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished
Order of Saint Michael and Saint
George, Governor and Commander-in-
Chief in and over Her Majesty's
Colony of New Zealand and its
Dependencies, and Vice-Admiral of
the same; and issued at Wellington,
this second day of January, in the
year of our Lord one thousand eight
hundred and seventy-three.

will be charged for according to the following scale:

Tabular matter double the above rate.
In all cases where figures are required each
figure counts as a word.
All advertisements must be sent to the
County Chairman's Office, and at the same
time pre-payment (by money-order when
necessary) according to the above rates must
be made.
