IT is hereby notified for general information that, in pursuance of the powers vested in me under the Gold Mining Lease Regulations I hereby declare that the undermentioned leases are cancelled, and that the ground is now open for occupation.

Nesbit & Co., 10 acres, Sailor’s Gully.

IN pursuance of the provisions of sections eighty and eighty-one of “The Westland Waste Lands Act, 1870,” the Waste Lands Board have reserved from public sale the lands described in the Schedule hereunto annexed, to be granted in payment for public works.

Two hundred and forty-five acres more or less; bounded on the east by the Grey and Marsden Road and section 1508; on the north by section 1507 and a line in continuation of its south boundary to west boundary of Block I.; on the west by west boundary of Block I.; and on the south by section 1508 and a straight line to include the quantity; subject to roads, reserves, and gold workings.

GREY DISTRICT.

Two hundred and thirty acres more or less, situate on the east side of road east of Omotumotu Creek; bounded on the north by section 1471, extending southerly along the said road and running back easterly an average distance of 40 chains; subject to roads, reserves, and gold workings.

GREY DISTRICT.

Two hundred and sixty acres more or less, having frontage to the west side of Arnold Road; bounded on the south-east by road to Maori Gully, and running back south-westerly an average distance of 40 chains; subject to roads, reserves, and gold workings.
