All advertisements must be sent to the County Chairman’s Office, and at the same time pre-payment (by money-order when necessary) according to the above rates must be made.

SALE OF RESERVES IN THE TOWN OF HOKITIKA.

WHEREAS, by a Proclamation issued by His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, dated the fourteenth day of May, 1873, and published in "The New Zealand Gazette," No. 31, dated the 22nd May, 1873; and also by a Proclamation issued by His Excellency the Governor, dated the twenty-fifth day of June, 1873, and published in "The New Zealand Gazette," No. 41, dated the 26th June, 1873, it was ordered that the parcels of land described in the Schedules hereto annexed should be sold, and that the time, place, and conditions of the said sale, should be fixed by the Waste Lands Board of the County of Westland, and should be published in The County of Westland Gazette, at least two calendar months before such sale should take place:

It is hereby notified that on Tuesday 28th October next, an Auction Sale will be held in the Land Office, Hokitika, of the unimproved reserves mentioned in Schedule No. 1.

The Sale will commence at Twelve noon. Every reserve will be put up separately at the upset price, and will be sold to the highest bidder. Ten per centum of the purchase money to be paid immediately on the fall of the hammer; the purchase to be completed, and the balance of purchase money paid at the next sitting of the Board, which will be held on Tuesday, 4th November, 1873.

At the end of the Auction Sale, the improved reserves mentioned in Schedule No. 2, will be offered to the occupiers at the price mentioned in said Schedule. The improved reserves must be purchased, and the purchase money paid to the Receiver of Land Revenue at any sitting of the Board, within three months from the date of being offered for sale.
