Block LXXIII. (Rural.)
GREY DISTRICT.

Situate between Lake Brunner and the Teremakau river. Bounded on the northward by Lake Brunner; on the eastward by a straight line bearing 160° (magnetic), through a point on the south bank of Lake Brunner one mile east of the mouth of the Orangipuku river; by the foot of the Hohonu range, and by a straight line through the 30th mile post on the Christchurch road, bearing 360° (magnetic); on the southward by the Teremakau river; and on the westward by a straight line through the 33rd mile post on the Christchurch road bearing 360° (magnetic); exclusive of lands sold, necessary reserves, and subject to gold workings.

IN pursuance of the provisions of sections eighty and eighty-one of “The Westland Waste Lands Act, 1870,” the Waste Lands Board have reserved from public sale the land described in the schedule hereunto annexed, to be granted in payment for public works.

ARAHURA DISTRICT.

Comprising about ninety-five (95) acres. Bounded on the eastward by section 1398 (rural); on the southward by the Waimea track; on the westward by section 1374 (rural); and on the northward by the continuation of the north boundary of the last-mentioned section.

Subject to necessary reserves and gold workings.

IT is hereby notified that the boundaries of Block I (rural), as gazetted in the County of Westland Gazette, No. 2, of the 12th January, 1872, have been extended by the Waste Lands Board, as follows:—

GREY DISTRICT.

Commencing at the north-east corner of Native Reserve, No. 31, and extending up the south bank of the Grey river to the north-western corner of Native Reserve, No. 33; thence following the western and southern boundaries of the Reserve; thence along the western and southern boundaries of Coal Reserve, No. 274, (in red), to a point one mile north-east of the south-west corner of said Coal Reserve; thence at right angles to the southern boundary of said reserve; thence westerly in a straight line parallel to southern boundary.
