NOTICE is hereby given that

JAMES McKENNA,
SOREN CHRISTOPHER WILLIAM MÖLLER,
JOHN KEATING,

being constables in Her Majesty's Police Force, stationed at Greymouth, have this day been appointed by the Council of the Borough respectively proper officers of the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the said Borough of Greymouth, for the purpose of performing the duties and doing the acts and things authorised or required to be done under the 9th sub-division of the first part of the thirteenth schedule of "The Municipal Corporations Act, 1867."

In pursuance of the powers vested in me, and in conformity with clause three hundred and thirty-one of "The Municipal Corporations Act, 1867," I hereby appoint

JOHN McGREGOR

to be a Fire Inspector in and for the Borough of Greymouth, and to exercise all the powers contained in clause three hundred and thirty-two of the said Act.

Given under my hand this twenty-first day of January, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and seventy-one.
