Reserve No. 30 (Arahura); on the west by

on the south by a line forty (40) chains distant from the Town of Hokitika, by line
DE, and by a reserve—five (5) chains in
width—along the foot of the high terrace
south of the south boundary of Native
Reserve No. 30 (Arahura); and on the east by
the one-mile line bearing 28° (magnetic) by
two-mile line bearing 30° (magnetic) and the
by part of line FN.

AUCTION SALE OF WASTE LANDS OF
THE CROWN, UNDER “THE WESTLAND WASTE LANDS ACT, 1870.”

WE, the undersigned, Commissioners of
the Waste Lands Board of the County
of Westland, in accordance with the provisions of section thirty-four of “The Westland Waste Lands Act, 1870,” do hereby
notify that Thursday, 30th November next,
at twelve o’clock noon, in the Land Office,
Hokitika, is fixed as the time and place when
an auction sale of town, suburban, and rural
lands shall take place.

Monday, 27th November next, at noon, for
the purpose of selling town sections of
Stafford.

hereby make application to register the
Stafford Town Prospecting Gold Mining
Company, Registered, under the provision of
“The Mining Companies Limited Liability
Act, 1865,” and I do solemnly and sincerely
declare that the following statement is to
the best of my belief and knowledge true in
every particular, namely:—

That the name and style of the Company
is the Stafford Prospecting Gold Mining
Company, Registered.

The place of intended operations is at the
Star Flat, Waimea, County of Westland.

The nominal capital of the Company is
eight hundred (£800) pounds, in 1600 shares,
of ten (10) shillings each.

The amount already paid-up in cash is nil.

The amount allotted in paid-up or partly
paid-up shares is three hundred pounds, in
six hundred fully paid-up shares, at ten
shillings each.

The name of the manager is William
Jackson.

The office of the Company is at Stafford
Town.

The names and several residences of the
shareholders and the number of shares held
by each are as follows:—

at twelve o’clock noon, in the Warden’s Court,
Stafford, is fixed as the time and place when
a sale of improved and unimproved sections
of the Town of Stafford, shall take place.

If any person has made improvements to
the value of twenty pounds sterling upon
any section, the occupier shall be entitled to
purchase said section at the upset price.
All unimproved sections will be put up to
auction.
