His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint
Michael Keoghu, Esq.,
to be Deputy Sheriff for the District of the County of Westland.

IT is hereby notified, in accordance with the provisions of section forty-three of “The Westland Waste Lands Act, 1870,” that the land described in the schedule hereunto annexed is open for sale.

SCHEDULE.

BLOCK LXII (RURAL).
ARAHURA DISTRICT.

Situate east of and adjoining the Kanieri Township Reserve, being bounded on the eastward and southward by the Kanieri River, on the north-westward by the Kanieri Township Reserve; on the northward by the Kanieri Lake Track, and foot of terrace, terminating at Lord’s Creek.

Exclusive of reserves, and subject to gold-workings.


BLOCK LXIII (SUBURBAN).
ARAHURA DISTRICT.

Near the Gaol, and bounded on the north and east by suburban sections 1138, 1159, and 1153; on the south by Reserve No. 454 (in red); and on the west by Reserve No. 802 (in red).

Exclusive of gravel reserves.


NOTICE is hereby given that the partnership heretofore existing between Thomas Learmont and Joshua Gibson, trading at Kanieri, in the County of Westland, as General Storekeepers, under the name, style, or firm of Learmont and Gibson, and also trading at Ross, in the said County, as General Storekeepers, under the name, style, or firm of J. Gibson and Co., has this day been dissolved by mutual consent.

The business at Kanieri will in future be carried on by Mr. Thomas Learmont on his own account, who will receive all moneys and pay all liabilities due to and by the said firm on account thereof; and the business at Ross will in future be carried on by Mr. Joshua Gibson on his own account, who will receive all moneys and pay all liabilities due to and by the said firm on account thereof.
