HENRY POW.

For every foot passenger ... 0 3
For horse, with or without rider or pack ... 0 6
For every vehicle drawn by one horse ... 1 0
For every extra horse to the vehicle ... 0 3
For every head of large cattle ... 0 3
For every sheep, goat, or pig ... 0 1
3. Same as in Schedule Q.

  1. Occupation allowed for one year;
  2. Subsidy to be £30 per annum.
  3. Scale of tolls:—

  1. Government Officers, on duty, free.

SCHEDULE S.—GEORDIE’S FERRY.

STEPHEN GLOSSOP AND PIERRE RICHARD.

  1. Authority to occupy granted for twelve months from 1st July, 1870.
  2. Schedule of tolls:—

Foot passengers 0 6
  1. All Government Officers on duty free.
  2. Ferry to extend from Towa Boundary, half a mile up the river.

ADVERTISEMENTS in the County of Westland Gazette will be charged

for according to the following scale:—

For every 72 words and under 6s.
Tabular matter double the above rate.

In all cases where figures are required each figure counts as a word.

All advertisements must be sent to the County Chairman’s Office, and at the same time pre-payment (by money order when necessary) according to the above rates must be made.
