which shall be countersigned by the con-
tracting parties thereto.
And whereas all contracts made according to the provisions herein contained, for any such work to be done in connection with Drainage, being duly executed by the person or persons contracting to perform the works therein comprised respectively, shall be effectual in law, and shall be binding on the Drainage Board, and all other parties thereto, their successors, as the case may be. And in case of default in the execution of any such contract or agreement, either by the Drainage Board, or by any other party thereto, such actions or suits may be maintained thereon, and damages and costs recovered by, or against the Drainage Board.
The undersigned members of the Jones’s Flat Mining Drainage Board have concurred in making the foregoing Bye Law No. 15.

At a Meeting of the Mining Drainage Board of the District of Jones’s Flat, begun and holden at Ross, in the said District, on the 19th day of July, 1870, it is enacted as follows:—
That is to say—
Bye Law No. 5 of the said Mining Drainage Board, to provide for the payment of preliminary expenses, passed by the said Board, is hereby rescinded.
