✨ Mining and Hospital Financial Notices



BYE LAW No. 11

At a Meeting of the Mining Drainage Board of the District of Jones’ Flat,
begun and holden at Ross, in the said District, on the 31st of May, 1870, it
is enacted as follows:—

That is to say—

Whereas the Mining Drainage Board of the District of Jones’ Flat have passed a Bye-law for the purpose of levying a rate of twopence (2d) upon all rateable areas within the Drainage Area, No. 1, at Ross, for the purpose of defraying the cost of constructing and the formation of certain Drainage Tunnels, and other protective works within the said Drainage Area, No. 1, as aforesaid:

Be it therefore ordered and directed by the said Mining Drainage Board of the District of Jones’ Flat, that an equal rate of twopence (2d.) is due and made payable to the Clerk of the said Mining Drainage Board, at his office, on Friday, the 17th day of June next, 1870, and which rate shall continue to be payable on every Friday in each week until notice to the contrary be given by the said Jones’ Flat Mining Drainage Board.

The undersigned members of the said Mining Drainage Board concurred in making the forgoing Bye-law No. 11.
