REMOVING NIGHTSOIL, ETC.
It shall not be lawful for any person to empty any privy, or load, carry, remove, or deposit, any nightsoil, offal, or other offensive refuse or matter, save between the hours of twelve of the clock at night and five of the clock in the morning, or to deposit the same in any other place than the Manure Depôt.
Commencing at a point on the Western boundary of Reserve, No. 8, in red, (Railway and Road Reserve), the same being one chain distant from the Northernmost boundary of Reserve, No. 455, in red; thence along the said boundary a distance of 400 links; thence Westerly at an angle of 81° a distance of 503 links; thence Southerly at an angle of 99° a distance of 400 links; thence returning Easterly a distance of 495 links to the commencing point.
Under the second subdivision of the tenth part of the thirteenth schedule of "The Municipal Corporations Act, 1867:" That is to say—
CARTS AND CARTERS.
Every cart, woodcart, and watercart, plying for hire, shall be licensed; and any carter, or other person, applying for such license, shall pay to the Town Clerk the sum of twenty shillings annually for its renewal in every succeeding twelve calendar months.

They are published for general information, under the 191st Clause of "The Municipal Corporations Act, 1867."

REGULATIONS OF THE COUNCIL OF THE BOROUGH OF GREYMOUTH, MADE UNDER SECTION TWO OF PART THREE OF THE THIRTEENTH SCHEDULE OF "THE MUNICIPAL CORPORATIONS ACT, 1867 AND 1868."
The Council of the Borough of Greymouth make the following Regulations: That is to say—
1st. That all coals shall be landed on a portion of the Wharf to be specially leased for that purpose.
2nd. That the Wharfage Rates to be paid in respect of all goods, wares, or merchandise landed or shipped, or deposited upon or from any Wharf, Pier, Jetty, or Quays, within the limits of the Borough of Greymouth, shall be as follows:—
Bran, one shilling per 60 bushels
Bricks, three shillings per thousand
Carrots, one shilling per 2240 lbs.
Coals to be landed on a wharf specially leased for the purpose
Chaff, two shillings per 2240 lbs.
Cattle, two shillings and sixpence per head
Dairy Produce, Bacon, Beef, &c., one shilling per 2240 lbs.
Flour, one shilling per 2000 lbs.
Fruit (green), one shilling and sixpence per ton measurement
Grain, one shilling per 40 bushels
Horses, two shillings and sixpence each
Lime, one shilling per 2240 lbs.
Machinery, one shilling per 2240 lbs.
Mangold Wurtzel, one shilling per 2240 lbs.
Onions, one shilling per 2240 lbs.
Potatoes, one shilling per 2240 lbs.
Poultry, free
Palings, two shillings per thousand
Sawn Timber, threepence per 100 superficial feet
Shingles, sixpence per thousand
Sheep and Pigs, twopence each
Slates, three shillings per thousand
Turnips, one shilling per 2240 lbs.
Vehicles (two-wheeled), two shillings and sixpence each
