NOTICE has been received from the Inspector of Sheep for the Wanganui District that he has granted a Clean Certificate to Mr. Thomas Higgie for his mixed flock of sheep, numbering 1026.

IT is hereby notified for general information that a Public Pound has been established in the Local District of Carterton by the Carterton Local Board, under the provisions of “The Local Boards Act, 1873,” and of “The Impounding Act, 1874,” and that Constable Martin Conner has been appointed pound-keeper.

I HEREBY give notice that by virtue of a Writ of fieri facias, issued out of the above Honourable Court, and to me directed, I have caused my bailiff to enter upon all that piece of land in the district of Wanganui, in the Province of Wellington, and being lots thirteen and fourteen, situate in the township of Russellvale, containing respectively two roods and twenty-eight perches and two roods and four poles respectively, and being parts of country sections nineteen and twenty, situate on the right bank of the Wanganui River, together with the appurtenances thereunto belonging, the property of the defendant, being an equity of redemption in the said land (subject nevertheless to a mortgage to the Wanganui District Land Building Society for securing to them the sum of one hundred pounds, as therein mentioned), having been taken in execution at the suit of the execution creditor herein, and that it is my intention to sell or cause to be sold the freehold of the said pieces of land (subject to the said mortgage), by public auction, at the Court House, Wanganui, on Monday, the nineteenth day of June, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-six, at 12 o’clock noon, unless satisfaction be sooner made of the said judgment, and all costs and expenses connected therewith; and I further give notice that Matthew Vere Hodge, of Wanganui, is the solicitor for the said plaintiff.

Given under my hand and seal this twenty-fourth day of February, 1876.

I HEREBY give notice that by virtue of a Writ of fieri facias issued out of the above Honourable Court, and to me directed, I have caused my bailiff to enter upon all that piece of land, being section numbered five hundred and three, situate in the town of Wanganui, containing by admeasurement one quarter of an acre or thereabouts, bounded on the north-east by section five hundred and two, on the north-west by Plymouth-street, towards the south-east by section five hundred and one, and towards the south-west by section five hundred and four; together with the appurtenances thereunto belonging, the property of the defendant (subject nevertheless to a mortgage to one Henry Nathan to secure him the sum of two hundred pounds and interest thereon, after the rate of twelve pounds ten shillings per centum per annum, and payable as therein mentioned), having been taken in execution at the suit of the execution creditor.
