NOTICE has been received from the Inspector of Sheep for the East Coast District that the “Run flock” belonging to Mr. Geo. Moore, Epraima, is infected with scab.

NOTICE has been received from Mr. W. N. Luxford, Acting Inspector of Sheep for the Wellington District, that he has cancelled the Clean Certificate of Mr. Josh. Blackey, Horokiwi Valley, from the 17th October instant; also that he has cancelled the Clean Certificate of Mr. Henry Abbott, Horokiwi Valley, from the 17th October instant, in consequence of Mr. Blackey’s sheep having mixed with his.

Johnsonville Local Board Bye-Laws.
IN pursuance of the 73rd section of “The Local Boards Act, 1873,” the Commissioners of the Local District of Johnsonville order the following:—
“All fences of bush wood, furze, or other like material, within the township and suburban sections thereof, shall be kept thoroughly trimmed to a height of not exceeding five feet. And every owner or, occupier of any premises, who, after fourteen days’ notice, shall neglect to trim or cause to be trimmed any such fence, shall forfeit, on conviction, any sum not exceeding Five pounds, and in every such case a sum not exceeding Forty shillings for every day after any such conviction, during which such fence shall remain untrimmed.”
