Public Notice.

Superintendent's Office,
Wellington, Sept. 18th, 1876.

IT is hereby notified, that the formed Road hereinafter described, leading from the eastern boundary of Section No. 30, Karori District, to Kilmister's land, is a Public Road.

This Road commences at the eastern boundary of section No. 30, Karori district, at a point about 50 links south of the Trig Station, known as "Town Belt," and runs thence easterly and southerly through the parcels of land in the Orangi Kaupapa Block, awarded severally to Hami Ngaro, Tamati, Mohi Te Teira, Mohi Puketapu, Wereta, and Ropiha Moturoa to the Tinakori Road, at a point about 3Β½ chains south from the north-east corner of the last-named parcel of land.

NOTICE has been received at this office from the Inspector of Sheep for the East Coast District, that the following flocks are infected with scab, viz.:

  • Hugh Belliss,
    "Flag Creek" run flock, numbering about 1400. Dated Aug. 5th, 1876.

  • R. & T. Mansell,
    "Tenui," Home paddocks flock, numbering 308. Dated August 7, 1876.

  • John Morrison,
    "Whareama," Little Run flock, numbering about 1000. Dated Aug. 24th, 1876.

  • George Moore,
    "Epraima," Home Paddock flock, numbering about 500. Dated 28th August, 1876.
