Ward No. 2.

Bounded towards the North by sections Nos. 76 and 79, and by a Native Reserve, Ohariu District; towards the East by lines so as to include sections Nos. 84, 85, 86, and 87, Ohariu District, and sections Nos. 38, 36, 34, 32, 30, 29, 40, 41, 45, 16, 14, 12, 10, 8, 6, 4, 3, 2, and 1, Makara District; towards the South by sections Nos. 33 and 34, and by a Native Reserve, Terawiti District; and towards the West by the Eastern boundary of Ward No. 1.

Ward No. 3.

Bounded towards the North by Ward No. 2, and by lines so as to include sections Nos. 30, 31, 33, 35, 37, 39, and 40, Karori District; towards the East by the Town Belt of the City of Wellington, and by sections Nos. 10, 11, 13, 14, 16, 17, and 19, Ohiro District; towards the South-east by sections Nos. 68 and 92, Terawiti District; towards the South by section No. 70, by the Town Belt, and by section No. 10, Ohiro District; towards the South-west by section No. 67, Terawiti District; and towards the West by sections Nos. 69 and 92, and by the Eastern boundary of Ward No. 2.

Ward No. 4.

Bounded towards the North-east, North, and North-west by Ward No. 3; towards the East by sections Nos. 19, 21, 22, 24, 25, and 27, Ohiro District; towards the South-east and South by the sea shore, between the Eastern corner of section No. 7 and the South-eastern corner of section No. 2, Terawiti District; and towards the West by the Eastern boundaries of Wards Nos. 1 and 2.

Ward No. 5.

The boundary commences at a point in Port Nicholson Harbor, where a production of the Northern boundary of section No. 660, Town of Wellington, strikes the shore, whence it proceeds along the shores of Lambton Harbor, Evans’ Bay, Port Nicholson Harbor, and Cook’s Strait, to the Eastern boundary of section No. 7, Terawiti District; thence along the Eastern boundaries of Wards Nos. 4 and 3, to the North-eastern corner of section No. 30, Karori District, and thence by lines so as to include the Town Belt and sections Nos. 659 and 660, Town of Wellington, to the starting point, excepting always the City of Wellington, as defined in the First Schedule to “The Municipal Corporations Act, 1867.”

SECOND SCHEDULE.

Wellington Highway District.

Ward No. 1.

The boundary commences at a point in the Porirua Harbor where a production of the North-east boundary line of section No. 91, Porirua District, strikes the shore; thence it proceeds Southerly, including within its limits the following sections: No. 91, Porirua District, Nos. 4 and 3, Pahautanui District, and No. 39, Takapu District; from the South-east corner of said section No. 39, it follows the Western boundaries of sections Nos. 348 and 344, Western Hutt District; from the South-west corner of said section No. 344 it continues Southerly, including within its limits sections Nos. 34, 33, 32, 31, 30, 29, 28, 27, 26, 25, 24, 22, 21, 20, 16, 15, 14, 12, 11, 9, 7, and 5, Horokiwi Road District, and section No. 19, Harbor District; continuing southerly along the shore of Port Nicholson Harbor until it meets a production of the Northern boundary of section No. 660, Town of Wellington; thence the boundary turns Westerly towards Cook’s Strait, excluding from its limits sections Nos. 660 and 659, Town of Wellington, the Town Belt sections Nos. 30, 31, 33, 35, 37, 39, and 40, Karori District, Nos. 41, 40, 29, 30, 32, 34, 36, and 38, Makara District, and Nos. 87, 86, 85, 84, 80, and 98, Ohariu District; the boundary now turns Northerly from the Western extreme of the Northern boundary line of section No. 98, Ohariu District, along the shores of Cook’s Strait and Porirua Harbor, to the starting point.

Ward No. 2.

The boundary commences at a point in the Porirua Harbor, where the production of the North-east boundary line of section No. 91, Porirua District, strikes the shore; thence it proceeds Southerly, excluding from its limits sections No. 91, Porirua District, Nos. 4 and 3, Pahautanui District, and No. 39, Takapu District; from the South-east corner of said section No. 39 it turns Easterly, excluding from its limits sections Nos. 348 and 351, Western Hutt District; from the North-east corner of said section No. 351 it continues on a bearing East magnetic till it intersects a North and South line magnetic, which touches the Eastern boundary of D. Richard’s selection of 40 acres, in the Pahautanui Agricultural Reserve; from the said point of intersection it turns North magnetic, till it strikes the Northern boundary of the Wellington Highways District, when it turns Westerly along the said Northern boundary to the mouth of the Waikanae River, and thence along the sea coast to the starting point.

Ward No. 3.

The boundary commences at a point in Port Nicholson Harbor where a production of the North-eastern boundary line of section No. 19, Harbor District, strikes the shore; thence it proceeds Easterly along the Petone Beach to the mouth of the River Hutt; thence Northerly along the right bank of the River Hutt to its source; thence North magnetic till it intersects the Northern boundary of the Wellington Highways District.
