Proclamation.
By His Honor William Fitzherbert, Esquire, C.M.G., Superintendent of the Province of Wellington, in the Colony of New Zealand.
UNDER the powers conferred upon me by the provisions of the second clause of an Act of the General Assembly, shortly intituled "The Greytown and Masterton Public Park and Cemetery Reserves Management Act, 1875," I, William Fitzherbert, Superintendent of the Province of Wellington, do hereby set apart the portion of section number thirty-eight in the Maroa Block, more particularly described in the first Schedule hereto, for a Public Cemetery for the inhabitants of Greytown, and the balance of such section, more particularly described in the second Schedule hereto, for a Public Park and Recreation Ground.
Given under my hand and issued under the public seal of the Province of Wellington, at Wellington, this sixteenth day of May, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-six.

1st SCHEDULE.
Greytown Cemetery.
All that parcel of land, containing by admeasurement 10 acres, more or less, being part of the section numbered 38 on the plan of the Maroa Block, bounded towards the north-east by section No. 39, 750 links; towards the south-east by other part of section No. 38, and by the abutment of a public road, 1334 links; and towards the south-west and north-west by section No. 50, 750 links and 1334 links respectively.
2nd SCHEDULE.
Greytown Park.
All that parcel of land, containing by admeasurement 23 acres and 3 roods, more or less, being part of section numbered 38 on the plan of the Maroa Block; bounded towards the north-east and south-east by public roads, 1250 links and 1900 links respectively; towards the south-west by a public road, 1250 links; and towards the north-west by other part of section No. 38, and by section No. 39, 1900 links.
PROCLAMATION
By His Honor William Fitzherbert, Esquire, C.M.G., Superintendent of the Province of Wellington, in the Colony of New Zealand.
WHEREAS, by the 15th clause of "The Local Boards Act, 1873," of the Province of Wellington, it is enacted that "if from any cause no Commissioner shall be elected, or the requisite number of Commissioners shall not be elected, the Returning Officer shall send to the Superintendent of the Province notice that no Commissioner has been elected, or that the requisite number of Commissioners have not been elected, as the case may require, and thereupon the Superintendent shall appoint a fit and proper person or
