Sale of Harbour Reserves Land, in the Town of Wellington.
Under authority of an Act, Session III., No. 14, of the Provincial Council of Wellington, entitled "Harbour Reserves," and of an Act Session VII., No. 8, of the said Provincial Council, entitled "An Act to explain and amend the Harbour Reserves Act."
Notice is hereby given that all that parcel of land situate in the Harbour of Port Nicholson, in the Province of Wellington, estimated to contain 30 acres 3 roods and 14 perches, more or less. Bounded towards the North by the production of the north side of Davis street, eleven (11) links, and by land reclaimed by the General Government, four hundred and forty (440) links; towards the East by other portions of Port Nicholson Harbour, to be reclaimed for Railway purposes, five hundred and forty-five (545) links; nine hundred and thirty-two (932) links; in a curved line of nine hundred and fifty (950) links' radius; fifteen hundred and ninety-five (1595) links; eight hundred and fifteen (815) links; and fourteen hundred and fifty (1450) links; towards the South by land reclaimed by the General Government, four hundred and forty (440) links; by the abutment of Testaerstown street, and by sections Nos. 159, 161, 162, 163, 164, 165, 166, 167, and 168, Reclaimed Land; and towards the West by section No. 168, Reclaimed Land; by land reclaimed by the General Government, six hundred and thirteen (613) links; by the line of high water of Port Nicholson Harbour, extending from the northern boundary of section No. 168; Reclaimed Land, to the land aforesaid reclaimed by the General Government; and also by the line of high water extending from such land reclaimed by the General Government to the production of the north side of Davis street, will be offered for sale at Public Auction at the Provincial Council Chambers, at Wellington, on Monday the twenty-first day of December, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-four, at twelve o’clock, noon.
The conditions will be published before the sale. In the meantime, information may be obtained and plans inspected on application at the office of the Provincial Engineer, Wellington.

Proclamation.
By His Honor William Fitzherbert, Esquire, C.M.G., Superintendent of the Province of Wellington, in the Colony of New Zealand.
WHEREAS by the 8th section of "The Wellington Waste Land Regulations Amendment Act, 1871," it is recited that the Superintendent of the Province of Wellington may at any time by proclamation withdraw from sale any Waste Lands of the Crown, which it may appear expedient for public interests should be so withdrawn, and that any proclamation heretofore or hereafter to be made by such Superintendent withdrawing lands from sale, may at any time be by the Superintendent revoked by a Proclamation. And whereas the Superintendent did by proclamations dated the twenty-third day of June, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-one, the tenth day of February, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-four, and the nineteenth day of March, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-four withdraw from sale certain Waste Lands of the Crown in the Province of Wellington, which were fully described and set forth in the Schedules to the said several proclamations. And whereas it is expedient that the said several proclamations should be revoked: Now therefore, I, William Fitzherbert, Superintendent of the Province of Wellington, in virtue of the powers vested in me by the above recited Act, do hereby revoke the said proclamations dated respectively the twenty-third day of June, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-one, the tenth day of February, and the nineteenth day of March, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-four.
