Proclamation.

By His Honor William Fitzherbert, Esquire, C.M.G., Superintendent of the Province of Wellington, in the Colony of New Zealand.

WILLIAM FITZHERBERT, Superintendent of the Province of Wellington, do hereby, in pursuance of the regulations in this behalf, proclaim and notify that the several allotments of land situated in the Whareama and Pahaua Blocks, in the East Coast district, in the Province of Wellington, and specified in the Schedule hereto, except such as may be reserved under the provisions hereinafter mentioned, will be put up for sale by public auction at the Crown Lands Office, in the City of Wellington, on Tuesday, the eighteenth day of November, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-three, at twelve o’clock noon.

If at any time during the sale it shall appear to the Commissioner of Crown Lands beneficial or expedient for the public service to reserve from sale either of the sections specified in the said Schedule, or to vary the order in which they are to be put up, he is hereby authorised to do so.

Given under my hand, and issued under the public seal of the Province of Wellington, at Wellington, this 14th day of October, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-three.

Approval of His Honor the Superintendent of Bye-Laws No. 4, of the Borough of Wanganui.

THE Undersigned, Superintendent of the Province of Wellington, do hereby approve of the Bye-Law No. 4, of the Council of the Borough of Wanganui, as published in the Provincial Government Gazette, No. 26, dated the 9th day of October, 1873.

Sheep Inspector’s Report.

NOTICE has been received from the Inspector of Sheep for the East Coast District, that he has cancelled the clean certificate of J. V. SMITH, Esq., for the whole of his “Maitai Kuna” flock from 12th September last.
