DAVID LEWIS, a Commissioner duly appointed by virtue of the Ordinance No. 15, Session XI., of the Legislative Council of the Islands of New Zealand, to hear and decide Claims to Land by persons claiming title thereto from, through, or under the New Zealand Company, report that the Claims of the under-mentioned persons having been duly referred to me for investigation, I do hereby decide that the said persons are respectively entitled to Crown Grants of the land set against their names in the annexed Schedule.

1552 1730 John Cail Entitled to a Crown Grant of part of Section No. 41 on the plan of the Porirua District. The legal estate to be ante-vested in the Grantee as from the 6th February, 1852.
1553 819 John Pullen Hawkey Entitled to a Crown Grant of the Section No. 135 on the plan of the City of Wellington, and of the Rural Section No. 6, Makara District. The grants to be issued in accordance with the provisions of Clause XXXIV., "Crown Grants Act, 1866." The legal estate to be ante-vested in the Grantee as from the 11th August, 1840, and in the latter as from the 18th November, 1841.
1554 1573 James Talmage White Entitled to a Crown Grant of the Section No. 904 on the plan of the City of Wellington; also to Rural Section No. 90, Upper Hutt District. The legal estate to be ante-vested in the Grantee as from the 4th April, 1848.
1555 1687 Evelyn Margaret White Entitled to a Crown Grant of the Section No. 714 on the plan of the City of Wellington; also to Rural Section No. 17, Horokiwi Road District. The legal estate to be ante-vested in the Grantee as from the 4th April, 1848.
1556 1586 Linda Mary Mazini Entitled to a Crown Grant of the Section No. 697 on the plan of the City of Wellington; also to Rural Section No. 9, Horokiwi District. The legal estate to be ante-vested in the Grantee as from the 4th April, 1848.
1557 1262 The Representative of John Gibson Brown Entitled to a Crown Grant of the Section No. 89, Porirua District. The grant to be issued in accordance with the provisions of Clause XXXIV. "Crown Grants Act, 1866," in the name of John Gibson Brown. The legal estate to be ante-vested in the Grantee as from the 27th June, 1857.
1558 1194 John Montefiore Entitled to a Crown Grant of the Section No. 372 on the plan of the City of Wellington; also to a grant of 150 acres of Rural Land, to be selected in accordance with the provisions of Clauses II. and VI., "Land Orders and Scrip Act, 1858." The legal estate to be ante-vested in the Grantee for the Town Land as from the 10th August, 1840. Subject to a direction of the Commissioner.
