SHEEP INSPECTOR’S REPORT—Continued.
Many sheep owners have got into the habit of confining their flocks in small spaces for weeks and months while treating them for the scab, thereby increasing the difficulties of effecting a cure, and incurring heavy losses through the sheep being too weak to withstand the effects of the dip. The more rapidly the sheep can be turned out of the yards, and the less they are disturbed on the run the greater the chances of effecting a cure.
I have the honor to be, Sir,
Your obedient servant,
THOMAS TELFORD,
Inspector of Sheep.
H. Bunny, Esq.,
Provincial Secretary, Wellington.
