WARD No. 3.

Bounded towards the north by the south boundary of Ward number 2; towards the east by the west shore of the Wairarapa Lake, by the Ruamahanga River, and by the west shore of Oneke Lake; towards the south by the sea coast, between Oneke Lake and Taourakira Head; and towards the west by the summit of the Rimutaka Ranges.

WARD No. 4.

Bounded towards the north by the south boundary of Ward number 1; towards the east and the south by the Ruamahanga River; and towards the west by the east shore of the Wairarapa Lake, by the stream bounding sections numbers 507 and 508, Township of Featherston Block, and running into the Lake, and by the Tauherinkau River.

WARD No. 5.

Bounded towards the north and east by the Huangaroa River, and by a line south magnetic from the south corner of section number 22, Wharekaka Block, to a point distant about three miles; towards the south by a straight line from the said point (distant three miles from the south corner of section number 22) to the south corner of section number 46, by the south boundary of the said section number 46, and by the Oruapouanui Stream; and towards the west by the Ruamahanga River.

WARD No. 6.

Bounded towards the north by the south boundary of Ward number 5; towards the south-east by a straight line from the eastern extreme of the north boundary, to the source of the Hurupi Stream, and by the Hurupi Stream; towards the south by the sea coast between the Hurupi Stream and Oneke Lake; and towards the west by the east shore of Oneke Lake, and by the Ruamahanga River.

WARD No. 7.

The boundary commences at the mouth of the Pahaua River, whence it proceeds southerly along the sea coast to the Hurupi Stream; thence it turns northerly along the south-east boundary of Ward number 6, and the east boundary of Ward number 5 to the junction of the Huangaroa and Wangaehu Rivers; thence it turns easterly along the Wangaehu River and the northern boundary of the Featherston Highways District, between the Wangaehu River and the junction of the Kaikaikuri Creek with the Pahaua River; and thence down the Pahaua River to the starting point.

WARD No. 1.

Bounded towards the north by the northern boundary lines of sections numbers 299, 293, and 298, Whareama Block, by a straight line from the east corner of said section number 293 to a point on the Waikarora Stream where the western boundary line of section number 744 strikes it, and by the Waikarora and Mangapakehu Streams; towards the east by the Whareama River and the Waihora Stream; towards the south by the south boundary of the Castle Point Highways District, between the south-east corner of section number 613, and the junction of the Kaumingi Stream with the Taueru River; and towards the west by the Taueru River.

WARD No. 2.

Bounded towards the north by the south-west boundary lines of sections numbers 175, 183, and 170, Whareama Block, and by a line east magnetic from the south corner of said section number 170; towards the east and north-east by a line about north magnetic from a point on the Whareama River where the northern boundary line of section number 898 strikes it, to the south corner of section number 161, and by the Whareama River to its junction with the Mangapakeha Stream; towards the south by the north boundary of Ward number 1; and towards the west by the west boundary of the Castle Point Highways District, between sections numbers 299 and 175.
