boundary line of the Wanganui purchased block; thence northerly along the eastern
boundary of Ward number 4 to the northern boundary line of the same; thence
westerly along the northern boundary lines of Wards numbers 4, 3, 2, and 1, to the
north-western boundary line of the Province; and thence north-easterly along the said
boundary line of the Province to the starting point.

WARD No. 7.

The boundary commences at the northern corner of section number 202, right
bank, Wanganui River; thence it proceeds southerly along the right bank of the said
river to the north-east boundary line of the Wanganui Town Belt; thence north-
westerly and south-westerly along the boundary lines of the said Town Belt to the
eastern corner of section number 15; thence north-westerly along the north-east
boundary line of Ward number 5 to the south corner of section number 108; and
thence northerly along the eastern boundary of said section number 108, and along
the eastern boundary lines of Ward number 6 to the starting point.

WANGAEHU HIGHWAY DISTRICT.

WARD No. 1.

The boundary commences on the bank of the Wanganui River at the north-west
corner of Campbell Town; thence it proceeds easterly along the northern boundary
and southerly along the eastern boundary of the said town to the south side of number
2 road line; thence easterly along the south side of the said road line to the north-
east corner of section number 33; then southerly in a straight line to the south-west
corner of section number 34; thence easterly in a straight line to the north-east
corner of section number 107; thence southerly in a straight line to the south-west
corner of section number 146; thence easterly in a straight line to the south-east
corner of section number 147; thence northerly and easterly, so as to include section
number 251; from the north-east corner of the said section number 251, it turns
southerly to the Wangaehu River, including sections numbers 251 and 290; thence it
proceeds south-westerly along the right bank of the said river to the sea coast; thence
north-westerly along the shore of Cooks’ Strait to the mouth of the Wanganui River;
and thence north-easterly along the left bank of the said river to the starting point.

WARD No. 2.

The boundary commences at the south-east corner of section number 42; whence
it proceeds northerly along the eastern boundary of the said section and its
production to the north side of number 2 road line; thence easterly along the north side of
the said road line to the south-east corner of section number 194; thence northerly to
the south-west corner of section number 247; thence easterly along the northern
boundary of section number 248 to the River Wangaehu; thence south-westerly along
the right bank of the said river to the south-east corner of section number 290; and
thence along the eastern boundaries of Ward number 1 to the starting point.

WARD No. 3.

The boundary commences at the south-west corner of the Waipakura Native
Reserve, whence it proceeds westerly along the south boundary of the said reserve to
the source of the Kukutu Stream; thence south-easterly in a straight line to the north
corner of section number 295; thence southerly to the south-east corner of section
number 42, so as to include within its limits sections numbers 295, 293, 292, 272,
116, 115, 114, 113, 112, 57, and 42; thence westerly along the northern boundaries
of Ward number 1 to the Wanganui River; and thence northerly along the left bank
of the said river to the starting point.

WARD No. 4.

The boundary commences at a point on the Wanganui River where the north-east
boundary line of the Upokongoro Block number 1 strikes it; whence it proceeds
southerly to the north-east corner of Ward number 3, so as to include Upokongoro
