Proclamation.

By His Honor William Fitzherbert Esquire Superintendent of the Province of Wellington in the Colony of New Zealand.

WHEREAS by the Land Regulations now in force in the Province of Wellington it is declared that all reserves for the sites of Township or Suburban lands for the Sites of Agricultural and Small Farm Settlements or for any other purpose of public advantage safety convenience health or enjoyment shall be determined by the Superintendent who shall notify the same by Proclamation wherein the object shall be specified for which any reserve shall be made AND WHEREAS it would be a public advantage if a certain section of land in the Township of Foxton in the Manawatu District were set apart for a Denominational Cemetery Now THEREFORE I William Fitzherbert Superintendent of the Province of Wellington in virtue of the power and authority vested in me in this behalf do hereby proclaim and declare that suburban section number three hundred and seventy-two (372) containing eighteen (18) acres and thirty five (35) perches more or less and situated in the Township of Foxton in the Manawatu District aforesaid is hereby reserved and set apart by me as and for a Denominational Cemetery.

Given under my hand and issued under the public seal of the Province of Wellington at Wellington this Sixteenth day of September one thousand eight hundred and seventy-one.

Sheep Inspector’s Report.

NOTICE has been received at this office, from the Sub-Inspector of Sheep, for the Wanganui District, that he has granted clean certificates for the following flocks:—

Messrs Clarkson & Simpson, Waipu. Dated 18th Sept., 1871.
Mr. F. Richards, Wangaehu. Dated 25th Sept., 1871.

Lower Valley Highway District.

Provincial Secretary’s Office,
Wellington, Sept. 30th, 1871.

NOTICE has been received at this office, that at a meeting of the Ratepayers of the above named District, held at Waihanga, on the 23rd inst., the following persons were elected members of the Board of Wardens, to fill up vacancies viz:—

Mr. C. Pharazyn
