SUBDIVISION OF LAND: Certificate of Title for which, has been issued under the 17th Section of "Native Lands Act, 1867."

Auckland, June 8, 1871.

NOTICE is hereby given that at a sitting of the Court to be held at Middle Rangitikei, in the district of Rangitikei, in the Province of Wellington, on the 12th day of September next, will be heard the application of Kawana Hunia and Te Watene Te Ranginui for the subdivision of the land comprised in a certificate of Title made and issued under the 17th section of "Native Lands Act, 1867," to the said applicants, and others; which said land is situate at Turakina, in the district of Whanganui, and is called or known by the name of Waipu, containing by admeasurement 4390 acres, and is bounded as follows, viz:โ€”Towards the North by lines 2198 links, 1881 links, 9503 links, 941 links, and 3970 links; towards the South-east by the Turakina river; towards the South-west by the sea, 3180 links and 2838 links; and towards the North-west by the Rakautaua block, 25,550 links.

NOTICE OF TIMES AND PLACES FOR INVESTIGATING CLAIMS.

NOTICE is hereby given that the claims, on behalf of themselves and others, of the several persons whose names are mentioned in the first column of the Schedule hereunder written, to the several blocks of land, of which the names and localities are mentioned in the second column, the boundaries of which are described in the Schedule hereunder, will be investigated at Middle Rangitikei, on the twelfth day of September next, and following days.
