NOTICE
OF TIMES
AND PLACES FOR INVESTIGATING
CLAIMS.

NOTICE is hereby given that the claims, on behalf of themselves and others, of the
several persons whose names are mentioned in the first column of the Schedule
hereunder written, to the several blocks of land, of which the names and localities are
mentioned in the second column, the boundaries of which are described in the Schedule
hereunder, will be investigated at Whanganui, on the thirtieth day of August next, and
following days.

SCHEDULE.

Claimants. Land Claimed. Boundaries Translated from Claims. Place where Plan will be deposited for public inspection.
Hoani Maka. Hunia Te Iki, Rota Pikopiko, near Man- gawhero The boundary commences at a portion of Kokomiko, and goes on to Oweta, Parakeke, Moetahanga, Taumahi, Te Mohoao, Tukutai, Te Waki, Taatawai, turns here and goes to Te Rata, Mangatai, Te Poroporo, Tutu, turns again and goes to Whakapokautai, Orangitetea, Te Waituna, Tam- maangi, turns again and goes straight to Toko, and on to the river until it reaches a portion of Kokomiko, the commencing point The Maps of each of these lands as have been surveyed can be seen in the Government Survey Office, Whanganui.
Te Ratana Te Uru- mingi, Utika Mohuia, Keruhi Te Ope, Heni Ratana MatiahaTapuakawhiwhi, and Ripeka Te Kehu Patupa, Whanganui The boundary commences at Pipipi, and goes on to Rahiu- tanga, turns and goes to Otu- hua, Kemihi Te tata, and on to Otumauiki (this is a river), and on to the Whanganui river, goes then by the Whanganui river until it reaches Tawharipuru, then then ascends to Kinimapi, goes then along on the boundary of Upokongaro No. 2, until it reaches Pipipi
Rimitiriu Kahukura, and Poari Kuramate Te Maene, near Upokongaro The Southern boundary is Tapere going on to Tautawai and on to Kopunga-o-Mangaone, goes along in the Mangaone until it reaches the boundary of Upo- kongaro No. 2, and then towards Tapere
Reupene Kewetone, Paora Paihana, Rota Hawea, and others Tini Waitara, near Turakina One side of the Native Reserve of Turakina, Province of Welling- ton. The boundary on the South-east is the Makirikiri river until its junction with the Turakina river : the western boundary is the Turakina river ; the Northern boundary is the old bed of the Turakina river ; the Eastern boundary is a line going into the Makirikiri river
