Native Land Court.

NOTICE OF TIMES AND PLACES FOR INVESTIGATING CLAIMS.

NOTICE is hereby given that the claims, on behalf of themselves and others, of the several persons whose names are mentioned in the first column of the Schedule hereunder written, to the several blocks of land, of which the names and localities are mentioned in the second column, the boundaries of which are described in the Schedule hereunder will be investigated at Greytown, Wairarapa, on the 27th of April next, and following days.

SCHEDULE.

Name of Claimants. Name and Locality of Block. Boundaries translated from Claims. Place where Plan will be deposited for public inspection.
Hiko Pinta, Matuire Piripi, Ihaka Nga-hivi, Hapeta, Para- tene, Wi Tutere, Arihia Ngawhawha, Hiu Te Miha, Te Ruhi, Paurara Mapuansates, Te Iringa, Te Ti- pua, near the mouth of Rua- mahanga The boundary commences at Te Whakamarumaru at the junction of the Queen’s boundary with the Ruamahanga, it runs in the Ruamahanga and comes to Te Haumi, Mepunatu, and reaches the mouth of the Ruamahanga at Whakahemete, it turns and runs along the Queen’s boundary and comes to Te Ikaraua, it reaches Te Kowhai, and continues along the Queen’s boundary till it comes to Te Whakamarumaru. It has been surveyed. Featherston, Wairarapa.
Hiu Te Miha, Te Ruhi Rakauwhakahiri, near Tuhita- tasa, Ruama- hanga The boundaries have been surveyed. A piece of land given back by the Government to Hin Te Miha, deceased, the father of the two persons now claiming. The boundaries are on the Government map. It was returned to Te Matenga, deceased. It contains forty acres.
Paratene Nuku Tauberepurakau, near Tubita- rata, Ruama- hanga
Marakaia Tawarau Raniera Wi Tinitara To Paerau, near Masterton On the Queen’s boundary for ten chains, turning on the Government survey line and at the middle it turns again for ten chains, and then comes up and closes. This is land sold; this portion is ours; our portion of that block is to be cut off.
Eraia Te Here Moihi Te Matia, near Greytown Commencing at Te Awa a Tahu, Waowororao, thence to Te Pupu, thence to To Ungaatini, thence along the course of the Waiohine, on to Te Awa a Tahu, where it closes.
Ngatuere Tawhao Papara, near Greytown Commencing in the middle of Ngaruru, it goes to Waiohine in a northerly direction and comes to Paparu at the bridge, it continues in the Waiohine and reaches the Rimu, it turns inland and goes to Waowaororos, it runs in the stream and meets at Ngaruru. This land has been surveyed and is shown in the map of the Ahikouka Block.
Piripi Te Apstu, Te Keepa Paora, Mika- hera, Petoromu, Ta- mati and others Te Unu-unu, near Greytown Bounded on the East by the Unu-unu river, on the north by land belonging to Te Patukai, on the South by the Arobata river; the sea is another boundary.
Ihaka Ngahiwi, Ripeka Te Kakapi, and others Otawa, near Greytown The boundaries are laid down on the map.
