Lost Land Orders.

I, DAVID LEWIS, a Commissioner duly appointed by virtue of an Act of the General Assembly of New Zealand, intituled “The Lost Land Order Act, 1861,” to hear and decide claims for Crown Grants of Lands for which the original Land Orders or other documents relating thereto have been lost or destroyed, report that the claims of John McBeth, of Rangitikei, and George Young, late of Wellington, having been referred to me by command of the Governor, I do hereby decide that the aforesaid claimants are entitled to Crown Grants of the land referred to in the annexed Schedule.

SCHEDULE.

Name of Claimant. Commissioner's Decision.
John McBeth ... Entitled to a Grant of Section No. 950, on the plan of the City of Wellington, in accordance with the provisions of “The New Zealand Company’s Land Claimants Ordinance, Session XI., No. 15.”
George Young ... Entitled to a Grant of part of Section No. 488, on the plan of the City of Wellington, in accordance with the provisions of “The New Zealand Company’s Land Claimants Ordinance, Session XI., No. 15.”

Transfer of Run.

NOTICE is hereby given that James Smith, late of Waimiorn, in the East Coast district, grazier, has transferred to Thomas Smith, and James Smith, Junr., all his interest in the Pasture Occupation License, dated 30th June, 1866, No. 102.

IT has been notified to this office that at a meeting of the Electors of the above School District, held the 22nd February last, the following persons were elected a School Committee for the ensuing year, viz:—
